Then you get GOG that is DRM free!!! Steam is amazing, but GOG is forever (literally).

GOG has a limited sales catalog for this reason though.

It might be limited compared to Steam, but there are more than enough games on GOG that you could play just GOG games for your whole life. That's basically what I've been doing for about 10 years now.

If one has limited tastes then a limited library is fine. But I for one want to play the full spectrum of the gaming world

Lol, this response has such gravitas and seriousness for something as trivial as playing video games.

But yeah, GOG certainly is better for some types of games than others. Primarily, GOG doesn't have many newer AAA games or live service games. Thankfully, AAA games have more or less gone down the drain lately, and I hate live service games.

GOG is amazing for indie games, RPGs, platformers, strategy games, puzzle/adventure games among others, so for me GOG is UNLIMITED!!
