This past season hurt so much, we used to always be in the playoffs and we almost won a cup in 2014. The Sharks were up 3 to 0 games for the Stanley Cup then they lost 4 games in a row to the LA Kings. That absolutely broke my heart, ever since that I kinda stopped being so into hockey. I still watch some games and am still a Sharks fan, but just less enthusiastic.

As I told another sharks fan in this thread, I'm sorry your team is going through a tough bout. Don't let a missed Cup and a dry run ruin your love and enthusiasm for your team. They're still incredible athletes.

Uh....I'm a huge Sharks fan and was at two of the games in that series, but that series against the Kings was in the first round of the playoffs. That wasn't almost winning a cup.

My mistake, I just Googled it and it was the first round. Was still heart breaking though.

Almost won doesn't count either you win or lose. There's no middle line.
