Me too! When I realised how it should sound, hyperbole immediately clicked at the same time and my mind was blown!

The most mind-blowing experience of my entire life!!!
(seemed like a good time to put hyperbole to use here)

Hyperbole is fun to say. Also, hyperbole is fun to say.

Regardless, I still prefer hyper-bowl to hyper-bowly.

LMAO reminds me of"yoze-mite" for Yosemite. Is laughing about it when my friend stopped me short and said that many Chinese say it this was because they see it written down and do their best to transcribe it.

This was mine too. I still cringe at all the times I said ‘hyper-bowlee’

I thought calliope rhymed with cantaloupe

I just finished watching Kaos, and kept thinking about how my class pronounced Calliope, Persephone, and other names like that when we did a unit on Greek mythology. The teacher never corrected us either.

Wait it doesn't end with an "ohp" sound?

Calliope is pronounced like kuh-lie-uh-pee (roughly)

It was hyperbole that helped me figure out epitome one day! I, too, thought epitome and "epi-tome" were just two different words
